Born in Tehran into an artistic family, he began his musical journey studying the setar under his grandfather’s guidance. His father, Jamshid Aziminejad, a celebrated figure in children’s programming, further inspired Arya’s creative path. From an early age, Arya and his sister Poopak appeared on their father’s iconic TV series Khaneye Aroosakha (The House of Puppets). Since starting his professional career in 1987, Arya has become a key figure in the evolution of Iranian music, earning both critical acclaim and popular recognition.
